Rossglass County FC

The mini soccer teams train every Wednesday night in the Red High from 7:00pm until 8:00pm and on Sunday mornings they play four short games against local teams in the Downpatrick area. Our “little nippers” are too young to play the small sided games but every so oftenthey take part in a two or three hour football extravaganza at local pitches.

The emphasis in our training sessions is very much based on the children having fun, making new friends and thoroughly enjoying themselves all the while developing their footballing skills. Children are rewarded for their good behaviour, teamwork and effort through our “Player of the Week” scheme where they receive a certificate and a football to take home.
